I enjoyed the flexibility of my work approaches, where I can tackle my project however I wish so long as I reach my goal. I also enjoy the hybrid work experience as it helped me manage my time efficiently. Aside from that, I loved the atmosphere of Austin and its down-to-earth culture.
What I wish was different
I wish I had gotten help from the faculty sooner rather than later so that I could meet my research and project completion deadlines.
Advice
As a research intern at a higher-education institute, it is important to reach out to your mentors and upper-line faculty so that you have as much support as you can get during your research project.
