What I liked

The hours are very flexible and the work is simple and generally easy to understand and do. You can listen to music/audio books/etc.

What I wish was different

It can get monontous. You also can't work more than 30 hours week as a student employee.

Advice

Music and podcasts can become your best friend to keep things interesting.

Flexible hours, independent work with little supervision

What I wish was different

There's not a lot of funding in the library. Which means they can't offer great pay. You start at min. wage and could get a small raise after working for so long.

Advice

It's a great job if you like working by yourself in a library type setting.

What I liked

It was a very relaxed environment and I had a lot of freedom. The work was easy and I could listen to podcasts while doing it. The managers were very easy to communicate with and worked with my schedule very fluidly.

What I wish was different

I wish the pay was more. 7.75 an hour is pitiful.

Advice

If you know you can work during the school year, this job is really good for making a small amount of cash and taking it easy, especially if you want to take days off basically whenever you want. Bad idea if you're trying to save up for the school year.
