Work environment was amazing! Team members were fantastic, schedules during the semester were flexible, and the office always had lots of snacks!

Don't worry if you are not an expert at HTML, CSS, or Javascript; you will have plenty of opportunities to learn and adapt to the University's web standards!

Nice bosses, fun coworkers, work parties
When you are not answering calls or researching, you can do homework/whatever you want. This job has helped me learn a lot about programs the university has to offer.

What I liked
The IT web team is the best team to work with on campus! It’s a goal of mine to find a workplace with culture that’s comparable to this one after I graduate. Interesting and challenging projects abound. Great chance to collaborate with people from different disciplines.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have worked with more graphic designers, but overall I couldn’t have asked for a better student job.
Advice
Get ready to learn about programming and the technical side of web design! Your graphic design experience is highly valued, but just knowing how to use photoshop isn’t enough. The more you know about how coding works, the better prepared you’ll be to collaborate with the team!
