What I liked
I felt like I made a difference working on the Visitor Services Plan at the National Bison Range. My work had meaning. The words I synthesized from coworkers, partners, and my own experience became a plan that will be implemented!
What I wish was different
I wish more people were able to use my pronouns earlier, but that is dependent on prior experience of people there. Everyone was respectful.
Advice
Remember is is alright to ask questions! That is probably what I did the most and it always worked out, even if I was a little nervous at times.
