Forest Service Intern
May - August 2022 • Fairplay, CO
What I liked
I loved that I was outdoors so much. It was a lot of hands on experience which was amazing! Even when I was in the office, I was continuously learning about the Forest Service and my district specifically. There were a lot of networking opportunities as well.
What I wish was different
I wish the area I lived in was more populated, however I did make some friends, and it was awesome being surrounded by nature.
