Working in the reserves is very flexible, I enjoyed having control over when I work and have it work around my life events

What I liked
I enjoyed working in an environment where I gained some hands on experience and could work directly with the air craft. In this way I could design a repair, and then see that repair implemented on the aircraft.
What I wish was different
I wish that I was able to begin designing repairs sooner, rather than gaining access to the resources and learning how to read the design drawings of the aircraft.
Advice
Always find something to do at your internship. If you do not have a task given to you, express your concerns to your superior. If still no tasks are available, create your own and try your best to be helpful and a crucial team member.
