I enjoyed working with SQL and learning how to automate their processes. I was able to get experience with a variety of technologies including SQL, SSIS, SSRS, batch script writing, Excel, etc.
What I wish was different
Advice
Dive in and ask for as much as you can handle. I feel like I gained a lot of experience that I will certainly take forward with me in my career. Also, take advantage of any public speaking opportunities you can.

Great company culture. Got to work directly on production solutions. Great intern focused events. Overall, gained a ton of real world experience.

Advice
Don't get overwhelmed. It is a very complex company but managers understand this and wont put too much pressure on you. Just do your best to learn and ask a lot of questions.

The environment of the company. Everybody on my team was willing to help me. Also, the fact that they gave me multiple projects and not just one.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have known at the end of my internship if I would be coming back to the company for another summer.

Get to known the rest of the interns as soon as you begin the job. It will make your experience much better.

What I liked
Great opportunity to learn new skills in a real world environment. I actually made an impact in the company and worked on many real projects. I was able to learn SQL and really learn a lot more about Excel.
What I wish was different
I wish it would have been a more collaborative environment. It was mostly independent work. It is also a very small office, so I wish it would have been more people.
Advice
Go in with initiative to ask for projects to work on. Definitely get an introduction to SQL.
