I loved the fact we were able to mentor and be positive role models to students who had a desire to go to college.

What I liked
It was a very fun position working with high schoolers and didn’t demand a lot of work. I also had a lot of free time throughout the day and weekends off. It wasn’t a huge group of kids either so it wasn’t very stressful.
What I wish was different
Sometimes my responsibilities weren’t always clear and my staff didn’t always have the best communication.
Advice
It was a lot of fun and it’s what you make of it. You get to make cool connections with the students but it’s only a few weeks as well
