I loved how flexible they are with my schedule. You can work whenever is convenient for you and if something comes up and you have to miss work, they're so understandable. You set your own schedule.
What I wish was different
I wish I would've had more opportunities to work more creatively with GIS. A lot of the tasks I did were repetitive and administrative in nature. I was occasionally able to create maps which was fun.
Advice
It's what you make it. Reach out to your supervisor if you want different tasks or want to learn more about a specific topic in GIS.
