University Public Engagement (UPE) is a broad-spectrum campus unit within the division of University Advancement. With special responsibility for public event oversight.
UPE manages:
-Chico Performances: Performing arts and lecture series
-University Box Office: Ticketing and patron service for Athletics, School of the Arts, Chico Performances, North State Symphony, and --Commencement
-Commencement and Special Events
-University alcohol policy and concessions service
-Laxson Auditorium: Historic 1930s campus performance venue
-UPE provides oversight of North State Public Radio (NSPR) and the University’s agreement with CapRadio, Sacramento to manage NSPR.
