Title IX Intern

June - August 2022 • Charlottesville, VA

What I liked

I loved that it was remote and I could make my own hours. I was able to work when it was best for me instead of a set 9-5. I liked that the work I was doing was being applied to a space that was relevant to me.

What I wish was different

I wish I could've see the other interns and worked with them in person, but it was a tradeoff for being able to work from home.

Advice

Getting involved with something you are passionate about makes the experience so much more memorable and meaningful. This experience was incredible because I was working with a team who was also invested in the projects we were doing.
