I really enjoyed working as a work study intern. it really opened my eyes and was a way that I could give back to the school of business and earn a little bit of gas money to help me get through school.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could be year around. I’m only lining to a certain number of hours per week if I could go about those hour limits it would be awesome.
Advice
Do it! I was kind of reluctant to do it at first because I didn’t know what I was getting myself involved in but I’m glad I did and it has helped me and the business school out tremendously.

What I liked
I loved the team that I worked with. Everyone was super friendly and the experience I'm gaining is exponential.
What I wish was different
I wish that they would have me be more involved with other students my age. It would be nice to collaborate and work with them since it is easier to relate to and understand what they are talking about. For example, some of my older colleagues are still behind on features of Excel and PPT that people my age already understand - I think there is a disconnect there and while it is worth bridging can be frustrating.
Advice
I would say the best thing you can do is brush up on statistics and be open to any and all experiences.
