I loved how I was treated at this job. I was able to get my work done in a reasonable amount of time and had the flexibility to make my own schedule. All of the work I did felt very appreciated, which made me even more passionate about it.
What I wish was different
I wish I could’ve worked there more! This internship was only ten hours a week at $10/hour. Unfortunately, because of this I was only making about $100 a week.
Advice
Prior to this, I dreaded having to do an internship while in school. I am so glad that I did this specific internship because it made me realize that I was passionate about marketing and social media. A piece of advice I would give is to just go for it! The first step is the hardest but you will never know unless you try. Also, you are not committed to a decision like this, if you are not happy or comfortable with the work assigned and/or work atmosphere, leave. Everything happens for a reason, you may find your dream job after leaving one you are not happy with.
