Advice
Don't get discouraged if you don't get the results you want in research! Failure in those areas leads to some great learning.

What I liked
I gained experience doing research analysis and will get my name on a publication. I also had opportunities to explore the medical field through shadowing, help out with a conference and meet patients.
What I wish was different
I wish this internship had been paid.
Advice
Take advantage of the people around you, they are a wealth of knowledge. This internship exposed me to a wide variety of people and made me think a lot about where I wanted my career to go and what I want to do. Having those resources is a great way to figure those things out.
