The program (physiology summer research program) was designed well. I had a great mentor and research project. There were weekly talks tailored to undergrads - these were very relevant for undergrads unsure about the future.
What I wish was different
I wish housing was provided.
Advice
Give it extra time and effort than required, and you will be invited back. You may even be included in a paper.

What I liked
I liked working close to the medical campus - I'm premed. I got to work with physicians. My PI is also a physician and so are many of the other PI's with whom he collaborates. I got to shadow some physicians and attend quite a few research symposiums, which were interesting, exciting, and partly went over my head.

Advice
Don't compare the pace of your results to other students'. Remain driven. Set small goals and work towards them.
