This was the best summer job experience that I could have ever had. I was able to gain credits for school while learning about biology. It helped me to become a better student and helped me to gain useful experience. I also loved all of the people that I worked with.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had been able to work with the other groups more than I had. I learned so much, but i think that I could have learned more about other areas rather than just genetic biology.
Advice
I would recommend doing an internship out of your comfort zone. I was not a Biology major when I did the internship, and even though it was a struggle I learned many valuable things.
