I liked that the job had creative projects such as creating flyers and bulletin boards and I had positive experiences with some of the department faculty.
What I wish was different
As a student worker in the main office I wish I did not have to experience pressures and criticisms about my schedule availability or my way of being.

I worked in the main office as a student worker and from my personal experience I would advise the following:
I highly recommend that candidates ask questions about the work environment and culture in order to decide if it aligns with their values and will fulfill their professional goals.
Additionally, it is important to be confident in respectfully advocating for yourself in regard to personal boundaries and work schedule.
