I really enjoyed seeing how physical therapists made a difference in the lives of patient. By shadowing various PTs I learned so much more about the field and this help further drive me to pursue the career. I was also given career advice and advice on applying to PT school which I found the most valuable from the experience since most of the therapists have been in my shoes at one point on their journey.
What I wish was different
I honestly wish that I could have done more instead of just shadowing and would've like to be more involved, but I still enjoyed what I saw and i learned a lot about the profession.
Advice
If you are going to apply to grad school or med school, I wouldn't hesitate to start job shadowing right away since many seats are limited and it's a valuable experience that will give you insight into your chosen career field.
