I loved learning about how USTA Central Indiana gives back to the underprivileged Indianapolis community. It was something I didn't know before. I have been involved with USTA since I was little because I have played many tennis tournaments, but it encouraged me to see that an organization that I have invested so much into for several years does an excellent job of giving back to the community.
What I wish was different
I truly do not think I could have asked for a better internship. Maybe if I was able to work more hours, that would have been nice!
Advice
You never truly know about an organization until you really dive into their mission and purpose. Being aware and giving money to an organization is one thing, but the first-hand experience is eye-opening.
