Michael Bennet has represented Colorado in the United States Senate since 2009. Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet is now accepting internship applications from undergraduate students, recent graduates and graduate students for his Washington, DC and Colorado offices. Washington Interns attend hearings and briefings, research legislative issues, meet with Congressional officials and staff, conduct U.S. Capitol tours and draft correspondence. Colorado Interns assist Constituent Advocates as they meet with and assist Coloradans who need help navigating the federal government, represent Senator Bennet at local meetings and events, research legislative issues and draft correspondence.
