The annual training event I attended provided much needed refresher courses for myself and my subordinates. We learned how to operate and drive a M1070 HET tractor and M1000 HET trailer. We also conducted first aid training, weapons marksmanship qualifications, and land navigation courses. My personal favorite was the first aid training, which taught us information and techniques that can save somebody's life.
What I wish was different
The dinning facility was a mile walk from our sleeping quarters. It would've been great if we had been closer.
Advice
Be flexible. Plans change in the Army at a moments notice, and you have to be ready to adapt to anything.
