What I liked

Hands-on experience right away, tons of patient hours, great clinical experience booster. Cute babies.

What I wish was different

Tons of administrative work. You are an “assistant” and that’s how you are treated. A lot of times don’t know if you are doing the right things due to unclear guidance, lack of policies.

Advice

Management of the office is terrible, due to the temperament of the Head doc. She makes the job much less enjoyable. If you can put up with her antics, you will be okay, but it would be much easier working somewhere with more stability in policies of the practice and personality of your boss.

What I liked

Being able to work with patients and gain insight on how a practice runs smoothly was very beneficial for determining why I want to enter the medical field. I also really enjoyed meeting other students on pre-med and pre-PA paths who work here, as well as gaining advice from the doctors in the office, who really want to help students.
