The UNCG Psychology Clinic is an outpatient facility offering affordable, high quality mental health services to the Triad area community. The Psychology Clinic is a non-profit organization affiliated with the UNCG Psychology Department offering a full range of short-term therapy services for adults, adolescents, and children. Services include
•individual, family, and group therapy
•diagnostic evaluation
•assessments for learning disabilities in children, adolescents, adults and for advanced learning placement in the schools
•psychiatric consultation and medication management for active psychotherapy clients
•services available for bilingual families through interpreters or bilingual clinicians
We place an emphasis on training and services that are based on current research, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, behavior management, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The Psychology Clinic is staffed by advanced graduate clinicians in UNCG’s APA-approved doctoral program in clinical psychology, many of whom are Licensed Psychological Associates. Each clinician is closely supervised by a member of the UNCG Clinical faculty, all of whom are Licensed Psychologists in the state of North Carolina.
