A very quiet and independent working environment helps with time management and being able to learn new things on your own. With such a small team, you are able to tailor your work based on your interests. Flexible work hours especially if there is a family emergency or if working from home is the better option for the time being.
What I wish was different
A very independent work environment, can make things very boring or make the day go by very slowly if you keep to yourself all day. This may be how all corporate working spaces are though.
Advice
Ask questions about the work that you do, and see the work that you do in the frame of the bigger picture. How does the work that you're doing fit into the organization and why are you doing these tasks? Always ask your supervisor or any coworkers if you aren't sure about something and get to know them!

What I liked
It was a small-company setting and very tailored to the interns' personal interests. Everyone was helpful and appreciated the extra assistance with tasks as well. I received a lot of hands-on experience.
What I wish was different
Sometimes the work was light while other times there was too much to do, but it was good practice in time management with multiple tasks at once.
