Computer Science Co-op

January 2023 • Auburn, AL

What I liked

The environment at UDA is amazing. Everyone is very helpful. The work itself is a great balance of not being too boring or stressful. Co-ops get to work on real tasks and features that go live on the website, and are treated like employees. I came in not knowing how to code in any of the languages I would be using, but the starter project and lead developers are really great at guiding and teaching you. I never felt stressed or left behind; it's honestly amazing.

Software Engineering Intern

What I liked

This Co-Op position is an awesome experience. UDA has a great starter project and co-op program in place which helps co-ops learn how to be a developer and very quickly move into a developer role. We then receive meaningful tasks and projects to work on which then go through the beta and publish cycle, and eventually make it to the live product, where they affect real customers world wide.
