I enjoy getting a refreshing experience in one aspect of my future career field later on. in addition to being able to meet people and make connections.
What I wish was different
More communication and audience among staff and students but overall it was great learning experience .
Advice
Weather it is you field of work or not give it a try because you just may never know who can connect you to who. Also don't under estimate the capacity of things you would learn in an outside field.

In order to work here you must be friendly and people oriented as you're working with all sorts of students with different backgrounds.

What I liked
I loved how tight knit the EOP/AIM family is. I enjoyed getting to know all the students and enjoyed helping make their experience at Stony Brook University a memorable one.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect.
Advice
One advice for ones who wish to work with EOP would be to try to get out of your comfort zone because that's where you will really get to discover your true self and doing so really made my time working with EOP a memorable one.

What I liked
I loved the experience of living on campus during the summer, tutoring incoming EOP freshmen, and making memories!
What I wish was different
I wished that I had done EOP Summer as a freshman, but instead I was a transfer student accepted into EOP. I had a lot of fun being involved in the tutoring and the counseling, but I'm sure it would have been even more rewarding if I had experienced it first and then gave back.
Advice
Get involved in everything! Hikes, pool parties, walks around campus. It is absolutely beautiful in the summer
