What I liked
I enjoyed the variety of the projects and the ability to have input on what I worked on. I also enjoyed being able to meet with local clients to discuss their business needs with the trade specialists in the office.
What I wish was different
There were times when I wished I was working on a different industry area, but it was very dependent on the needs of MA companies.
Advice
Definitely ask questions of people and check in to see if you can work on different projects. The office environment is extremely supportive.

What I liked
Research experience working in the Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology at NIST on nanoscale microfluidic devices for multi-organ systems. Ability to develop my own research project.
What I wish was different
Ability to carry the same project into consecutive fellowships
Advice
Look for internships EARLY- many summer applications close right after the New Year begins (January).
