I gained a lot of useful skills. I had never worked with children in this capacity, nor had I ever worked in education.
What I wish was different
The way the camp was run was interesting. I am glad they are open to restructuring and are willing to listen to input from counselors. I wish I had a better understanding in what each of the roles did (especially the roles above me).
Advice
Know what you're signing up for. This job was more valuable for the experience gained than the money earned, although it pays fairly well. Working with children is such a great experience, for any future profession/field.

What I liked
I liked the organization. Every thing was explained thoroughly, training was effective, and the days had great structure.
What I wish was different
I wish that they were more lenient with vacation days since it is a summer job.
Advice
Great experience in environmental education. Nature camp for kids was very rewarding. You make a real impact.
