I was the only intern at a small company, and because of this I worked side by side with the Marketing and Communications director and was able to see exactly what she did on a daily basis. This also enabled me to do a large variety of tasks and have a lot of things to put on a resume and talk about in job interviews.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had been able to do more things related to my English major in my internship.
Advice
Don't be afraid to tell your employer about tasks and areas that you are interested in. I was interested in graphic design and my boss allowed me to invest a lot of my time in that.
