I loved getting to connect with high schoolers who are in the same position I was in! Getting to share my experience coming to college and encouraging them to do the same was the best thing!
What I wish was different
I wish there were more ice breakers. These kids are nervous about camp but also what they need to be doing in high school to prepare for college. I think if we made them more comfortable, they would open up more to hearing our tips and tricks!
Advice
I really loved working with the ETS program. Being a student worker through the school year and a mentor has made so many opportunities for my growth. I would say if anyone has the opportunity to work at a job like this, to go at it with your all!

I wish it would have been more 1:1 as oppose to working with a group of students.
Advice
It is always good to keep an open mind and be open to learning from your experiences. It also always good to share your ideas with your supervisor and co-workers in order to best serve the students.
