I had the opportunity to rotate through various departments in the company whilst simultaneously being a part of long-term projects. I also worked closely with powerful individuals in the company (including partners and even the co-founders).
What I wish was different
I wish that some individuals I worked for had been less afraid to give me work- some didn't want to "abuse" the intern with workload and thus preferred that I shadow them and I learn best when doing hands-on work (but this wasn't the case for all the projects I worked on or groups I worked with).
Advice
This was an amazing experience- I loved being in uptown Charlotte
