About Trinity Lutheran Church & School

Trinity Lutheran School is a parochial school in the Lutheran tradition that seeks to serve students and families from all walks of faith. Our students and their families come from a wide variety of faith backgrounds encompassing many Christian denominations. We consider it a joy and a privilege to share the Word of God’s love with all people. There are many types of private schools. Christian schools are often the school of choice for parents seeking a Christ-centered education. Lutheran Schools are recognized for their academic excellence. Trinity Lutheran School is chartered by the State of New York, accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Association and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It is a member of the Lutheran Schools Association of Metropolitan New York, a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society.
Our students go on to succeed in a wide range of high schools. Most parents choose to continue their child’s education at another parochial or Christian school. Some choose to send their child to the public school in their district. Regardless of what high school our students attend, they are well prepared for the rigors of their secondary education. Many of our students receive scholarships to non-public schools and are placed into honors classes in both the public and parochial school settings. Trinity Lutheran offers Regents level classes, and prepares students for Spanish level two in high school.
Trinity Lutheran School offers programs for Early Childhood / Preschool ages 2-5, Elementary School grades K-5, and Middle School grades 6-8. We also offer before and after-school supervision to children of working parents. The dedicated staff provides a high quality, home-like experience for the children in a familiar setting. Our k-8 students wear uniforms which add to our culture of community and encourages a sense of unity. We believe that uniforms contribute positively to students’ behavior. Please feel free to call, 516-931-2211, and request a visit so that you may experience our excellent program first hand. We look forward to meeting you.

“I loved everything about it. Although it was tiring at times because small children can be tiring.”
