I liked that I started in a Co-Op Internship and moved to Accounting. I really saw the whole process of how things flow in and out of a public accounting firm. I loved the environment of the firm and how helpful the staff was to me in my learning endeavors.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have done more returns and more accounting, but for the level I was at in my courses, the work assigned to me was appropriate in the end and I learned so much. This firm was professional and gave an amazing learning experience.
Advice
If you receive an internship, always network with every person in the firm. You never know who someone will know and how they can further help in the future.
