I liked everything about interning at Community Action. I really appreciated that everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome into their establishment. I also enjoyed being around the children, experiencing what occurs in a classroom, as well as what it is like to be a Family Case Manager.
What I wish was different
I wish there was little bit more structure in the organization as a whole. Overall, everything else was excellent.
Advice
Do not be nervous. Go in on your first day with a positive, confident attitude, dress appropriately, and talk in a clear, calm voice.
