I loved the independence I was given to take the initiative to connect with students and support them in intentional ways.
What I wish was different
I wish that there would have been more to keep me busy! I left home for this internship so I did not have a huge support system to keep me busy. It was a tad isolating
Advice
Set clear goals for your self. Independence can feel great but lack of direction is an easy way to feel like to work you are doing is irrelevant.
