What I liked
The senior engineers were very helpful, easy to work with, and easy to learn from. I had the opportunity to get to know and network with interns, engineers, and executives at White Sands Missile Range.
What I wish was different
I wish I had an idea of what I wanted to get out of the internship before I started. I did not know what specific areas of Electrical Engineering interested me, so I simply started the first project I got assigned. I would come to find out that the project's work did not really interest me, which I believe could have been avoided if I knew what I wanted to do during the internship and geared my project towards that.
Advice
Make yourself heard. Whether it is asking questions, networking, or giving a presentation.
