- Great intern program that allowed interns to have fun - Lunch & Learns helped us learn more about the company and network with employees (and get free lunch!) - Flexible schedule - Friendly workers - Good location

More specific assignments to work on and work related to major

What I liked

The eye opening experience of learning about a new industry that I did not have previous professional exposure to. I was able to observe and learn from Managing Directors and Vice Presidents through weekly workshops and lunches, as well as daily activities.

What I wish was different

I wish I had the ability to do more hands on work with the trading itself, or the ability to have more exposure to client contact.

Advice

Go into this internship with an open mind about what products you want to trade. Many people think of equities as the most interesting instrument to learn about, but the fixed income space turned out to be extremely intriguing due to the variety of securities that are traded.

What I liked

Tradeweb had an awesome internship program! About 3 times a week, we would have intern "lunch & learns" so that interns had the opportunity to learn about all of the business areas in the company and not just the desk you were assigned for the summer. Furthermore, the company was really accommodating to interns who wanted to shadow other desks that they think they might be interested in or just want to learn more about.
