The Employees at the Rec Center are always so nice and I really had nothing go too wrong with anyone. It was a great work environment and my supervisors/managers were always very helpful with scheduling and pushing us to be the best lifeguards we could be.
What I wish was different
Not too much that I wish had been different, possibly I could have let the experience change me a little more and have been more consistent with my training. I’m not the best swimmer and I could have trained more.
Advice
I would advise for anyone if they have the opportunity to be a lifeguard to take it. It teaches some great life skills for first aid and CPR which allow you to literally save lives, not only in the job but outside of the workplace as well.
