The Town of Nantucket is a small island community located approximately 30 miles southeast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The island’s year-round population is approximately 12,000, however its summer seasonal and tourist population swells the island to over 50,000 inhabitants during the busy summer months. Municipal services must be provided year-round and scaled to meet the changing demands seasonally.
