“The job was a great way for me to step outside of my comfort zone. I had to come up with lesson plans on my own for 6 weeks of instruction for about 10 different classes of students sorted by age. While coding and computer programming are not part of the field that I hope to go into, I did admire the aspect of the job where I encouraged students to pursue a job in STEM. There were several students who did not fail to let me know that my class was always their favorite and they plan to work on their coding skills outside of the classroom. The camp directors do a great job at letting your creativity flow.”
