I love the location and pace of the position. The other staff are all around my age. Was a great experience to work with the returning staff as well.

Its definitely worth renewing your lifeguard license. Its a fun job that pays well.

What I liked
I enjoyed being able to be at the beach everyday for work and have the opportunity to work outside and with some of my closest friends. The job introduced me to a wide variety of people who taught me a lot.
What I wish was different
This past summer it was definitely a struggle working in a public place and I wish I had the opportunity to experience the park running to it’s full extent without the limitation placed on it by the pandemic.
Advice
It is definitely the perfect summer job for any young people who are looking for work while home on summer break as you get the benefit of working full time while also being able to experience your summer break.

What I liked
It gave me a a chance to manage a group of people and understand the what I need to do to be a successful manager.
What I wish was different
I wish the pay was a little higher and they had earlier hours available. Other than that it was a great experience.
Advice
Managing people may not seem hard but it its. At first I was giving people the benefit of the doubt that they would be getting all of their work one but that just made them lazy. I eventually had to learn that you have to stay close to everyone to ensure the work is getting done efficiently.
