I loved my internship at Torq and that no day was the same! They also have built an amazing culture. I looked forward to going to the office and they had lots of fun events while I was there. As a smaller startup, I got to know everyone in the office and I didn't feel like I was getting lost despite the fast paced environment. Having the opportunity to shadow different product offerings as well as being entrusted with my own projects were all valuable experiences for me. I'm very thankful that I got to spend my summer at Torq!
What I wish was different
Nothing really, my only complaint is that I wish it was longer. It was only 10 weeks because I had to go back to school, but I felt like I was really getting into the swing of things and then had to leave.
Advice
Come ready to learn! There is truly something different you can learn from each person so make sure you sit down and get to know everyone's story. There's nothing more valuable than hearing about other people's successes and failures throughout their careers. Don't be afraid to ask questions, everyone is eager to teach you something new!
