What I liked

I enjoyed the change of pace from my previous experience. I was more hands-on this time around. I learned about B2B marketing strategy and previously had known only about B2C. I felt that those whom were my supervisors and co-workers gave me the freedom to make decisions for myself and empowered me to create and innovate.

What I wish was different

I wish I were more involved with the sales funnel of the marketing efforts we worked on this past summer. I missed out on that learning opportunity to get demos set and go in the field to encourage demos and onboarding.

Advice

Create, don't hesitate. Never be afraid to produce something because someone may find value in the work and you can iterate if needed to impact the organization in a new way.

What I liked

tilr gave me a ton of creative freedom to step in where I thought I could make a difference. I had the opportunity to work on projects that were meaningful to me, which made my experience unique. It was an extremely fast-pace environment that demanded high-quality work. The culture was fun, energetic, and collaborative.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have caught on to the hang of things and the company itself quicker to help me with branding and messaging. Other than that, I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Advice

Work in a startup if you are a highly motivated individual with a great attitude. Working as an "intern" at tilr is like being a full-time member of the team. You won't be doing busy work. At tilr, I was always supported and cared for.
