What I liked
The best aspect of this internship was the immediate impact I was able to make and see within the finance team and organization. Not only was I very involved in the day to day process of the finance team, it was intertwined with the different departments within the manufacturing facilities. The best aspect of this experience however was the team I was part of and their willingness to help teach me critical thinking skills in areas I was not familiar with.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to spend more time at the company. When I left, I was fully confident in my abilities to perform all the tasks that were asked of me. I wish I was able to stay longer and continue to improve the processes that were in place.
Advice
I would advise anybody going into an internship to break out of your shell, add energy to the team you work with and ask as many questions as possible.
