What I liked

As an intern for The Xpertainment Group, I was privileged to work on a number of projects--from website development to social media marketing to blog writing and more. Working for an exciting startup like this one enabled me to pursue many interests under the "marketing" umbrella as I gained invaluable insight and experience in the industry. I'm lucky to have received one-on-one training and guidance from my incredible mentors--Gordon and Victoria. I would highly recommend this internship to anyone hoping to further their marketing and professional know-how.

What I wish was different

As I mentioned, this internship allows a lot of flexibility and freedom to choose the projects you want to pursue. Given this, if you are unhappy with a particular project, you can redirect the internship into other pursuits that reflected your professional and developmental needs.

Advice

Since this is a remote internship, my advice would be to make sure you handle your time wisely and take initiative. There are not always specific deadlines for some projects, so you need to be disciplined enough to get your work done in an appropriate timeframe.
