I really enjoyed the environment that the WFC provided for me. The WFC takes on a very collaborative approach to their work, so I worked with various teams as a communications intern. Everyone was extremely welcoming and willing to include me in their work. I learned a lot about social media and engaging different audiences.
What I wish was different
I wish I had taken a bit more initiative as an intern and asked for more assignments/asked to be involved in more projects.
Advice
Make the most of it! As an intern, take not of every single available opportunity to you and pursue it! That's what makes being an intern so great.
