It was a very supportive environment to work in. I was able to be self-directed in the workload, following their guidelines. It was also nice that it was a remote internship.
What I wish was different
They were just a new company, so they had some kinks that they were working out. I'm sure that's all figured out now.
Advice
Just stay on top of things by reading about 5 stories a day and you can read most of the submissions in no time. Also, know that they trust you judgement and comments about submissions.

What I liked
It was a very relaxed internship and it was remote, which was a great benefit. The owners of the company were more than willing to answer any questions I had about the industry and were very supportive in helping me learn how to better gauge the readiness of a story for publishing.
