What I liked
The Valerie Fund is a really small company. The Events & Communications team is comprised of five people in total, so, as an intern in this small company, I benefited from many hands-on experiences. I was directly involved in planning The Valerie Fund's annual fundraisers. I was also able to attend all of the events, allowing me to see how all of our hard work paid off. This is a really great internship to learn more about the inner workings of a non-profit, as well as gain event planning and fundraising experiences.
