I enjoyed getting to work both independently and in a team setting. Although I had supervision, I was provided with much flexibility to work in the manner I desired. I enjoyed collaborating with a fellow intern to research competing MBA programs in the area.
What I wish was different
I wish their was more interaction amongst fellow interns. This way, we would be able to collaborate ideas and bounce off of one another. Although it wasn’t possible this summer, it would’ve been nice to get to see people in an actual work environment, as opposed to over the computer.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to step a little out of your comfort zone. If you have a question, suggestion, or any idea at all, speak up! Employers want to hear your voice.
