I loved being able to work with the Director of Development and share ideas with her. I was also able to take on a lot of the planning for an event that was held in August. I also was able to learn more about how the donation processes work.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to spend more time there, it is a small organization so some days there was just less to do.
Advice
Don't be afraid to share your ideas and constantly look for new ones. I was able to give a lot of ideas that were ultimately used because I felt comfortable to say them. Sometimes they won't work but it's always a process of learning what works and what doesn't.
